Santa Monica: Matty and The Monkey

Santa Monica, CA--We decided to go for a stroll in Santa Monica close to the pier on the 3rd Street Promenade. It is about four blocks of stores, shops, restaurants and movie theaters--and it is full of street life... people strolling and enjoying life. There is quite a bit of street art and a number of street performers. Sadly, we have nothing similar anywhere near our Washington neighborhood. While walking around we ran into this little monkey and for $1 his owner would allow her to shake your hand and have your photo taken with her. Matty loves monkeys and was really happy to make a new friend. Her name is Suni.
