Washington, DC--Inauguration Day was a wonderful climax to days of anticipation. Matty and I walked from home to the National Mall for the ceremony (we were lucky enough to have Silver tickets). It was magic to see more than 1 million (1.8 million?) Americans there celebrating. That evening we had tickets to the Neighborhood Ball where we saw President and Mrs. Obama take the first dance as First Couple. Click on the collage photo above to see all of the photos. We also have video from the Ball.

just wanted to thank you for allowing everyone to view the Obama Iaug. I never post anything really. However when I was through watching your slides/collage. I kept wondering what a nice thing you had done. Its as if I was able to to take a peak at how it actually was. I felt very blessed. Thanks for doing such a good job and such a wonderful thing.
Mrs. Day
