DC Under The Snow: Trio Restaurant

Washington, DC--The city is waiting for a second snow storm to hit Tuesday and Wednesday. Washington still hasn't recovered from last weekend's storm, so this one is just going to add to the already huge problems. Luckily, there are restaurants in the neighborhood that are open and serving food. Trio is one of them, at the corner of 17th & Q Streets NW; it has been in business for 60 years.

That looks like a good place. I love the glow of the lights on the snow. This is a very nice picture.

Luis, that is beautiful. Your "pain in the ar*e" snow really makes this photo. Hopefully they won't run out of food to serve! I do feel for you! Tough act to follow, but Mom Nature seems to be in a threatening mood.

Even with a new storm approaching this image is much more optimistic. I really hope the got plenty of food stored.

Me encanta esa luz, sólo from USA.
Hace falta una buena bufanda por allí.
Cuidate,
Serge

I love how neon just takes over a shot, especially at night. The snow just takes on that color too. Marvelous!

60 years, eh? That's the kind of staying power one would want from a local restaurant in times of trouble.
