Washington, DC--Have you ever been to a bar at 9:00AM on a Sunday morning? Not really a nice sight unless you just happen to wake up there which would have been a totally different story, not mine in this case. I just happen to have a photo session there. It went well but it was kind of fun to experience the place in such a different atmosphere.

Our bar are slightly different and at 9AM they are quite active even on Sunday. Your subject was a lot quiter at the same time...
the waking up in the bar at 9am would've been a weird feeling.

Luis, this is a lovely photo - and I actually have been in a bar in the morning, so the upturned chairs are a familiar (and somewhat melancholy) sight! I love the play of light and dark here - it is always night-time in a bar, even when the day outside is trying to assert itself!

Not a nice sight but in my experience, an even worse smell.
But nonetheless its a very warm golden light.
