Washington, DC--Shelves were emptying very fast this morning in the supermarkets nearby. The lines outside and inside the stores were very long. I just went in to grab a couple of images. So far we are doing fine but the rain hasn't stopped for hours.

wish you a quiet day ! bisous Luis
You will survive, you are strong people.
But do not leave the apartment to make some special photo, pleease)))
We hope you and your family (inclusive Loope) are doing well right now. We are following at tv !
Well done Luis!
A very apt photo considering your circumstance. Stay safe.
Excellent photo, Luis. Hopefully God protects America.
Regards, Wout
Excellent image for today Luis, as Irina said, don't go out looking for pictures, it will be tempting, I would be tempted, but don't do it, we see enough on the news! Take care and I hope it's not too bad.
I wonder how the liquor stores are doing?
I"m with Bird. When it looks like we'll have snow, I leave the bread and milk to the masses and head to the liquor store!
I 'm thinking this was an over-hyped hurricane.

I hope the worst is over now...
Excellent shot. Glad to hear that your doing well. I hope Lupe isn't getting anxious having to stay indoors all that time.
Suerte!

Stay safe!
This is a strong image!
a picture that can be felt. wishing you all the very best and a soon end of the storm.
Seen that many times along the Gulf Coast.
Reminds me of the store just before a blizzard.

Good that it has passed. Was concerned for our family there. Apt post for the circumstances Luis.
Ominous. I like the lighting in this shot and the way the shelves are darkened.
