Tiki Seafood

Washington, DC--I truly love these old signs. But little by little the city keeps on losing them.

Terribly behind with everything so haven't been blogging consistently or visiting . . .

However . . .

To let you know . . . now Blogger / Google has re-organised photo storage, I've gone back to posting daily at Message in a Milk Bottle

http://messageinamilkbottle.blogspot.co.uk/

instead of M2.

Perhaps you might like to follow the photos there?

One thing that I really appreciate about taking photographs is that it makes me so much more aware of my environment, such as signs from an almost gone era.

Looks like it's been there for awhile and that's a good thing. Nice shot!

Old signs are interesting. I particularly like the really ones painted on the sides of buildings and that are barely visible, like echoes from the past.

These signs certainly do depict an era.
